More exciting news is coming to World of Titans, as we continue development on the ambitious MMO World of Titans. We are truly excited to share with you another major list of new features, updates, changes and announcements! Grab a comfortable throne, as this update log is a big and very exciting one!
A new website is on the horizon!
To streamline the process for World of Titans, both on a front end and backend process, we will be migrating to a brand new and update website. This will connect all accounts to one website, that will be used to login to the game, make purchases, request support, subscription statuses, update account and more! The website puts everything into one ArchAccount instead of having a separate one for the game and the website.
World of Titans will operate from a launcher!
Another exciting feature is the official launcher for World of Titans that will connect to your ArchAccount, giving you access to the game, get instant updates, mirco-transactions, news/patches, important announcements for changes to the game, or maintenance periods, etc.
New found packs to launch
As we are an indie team, we do not have the hundreds of millions of dollars to produce an mmo. Our team has devoted hundreds of hours to the development of the MMO and with your help, we can continue to expand the team and implement more features to the game. To help keep World of Titans going, we will be introducing new founder packs that will also feature some special perks to the below items! Including name reservations for both characters and guilds! As well as some special perks for Guild Kingdoms and more!
Changes in-game
Let’s dive into the nitty gritty of all the major changes, additions and updates to World of Titans that will be available on release.
Race based first spawn in location
A new feature we have implemented, is the spawn locations based on the race you choose. Once you select your race and customize your character, you will spawn among your fellow races in the appropriate location. This gives each race a unique starting zone/questline that will allow only the selected race the opportunity to complete them, giving them a special starting questline for that specific race.
Enhanced Character Customization
Time to get creative! A new and improved character customization and class selection will be available to make your character unique to what YOU want! This exciting addition will give you the power to change facial features, hair styles/color, facial markings and more!
Mailing System
Need to contact players offline? Or perhaps need to send something to another character of yours? Well a new system is implemented that will allow for you to send mail to other players, to include messages, item transfers or send currency!
Auction House
A truly magnificent feature where players can now post and buy items from the auction house! Whether you are a master crafter making your gold off of selling items on the auction house, or flipping items from the auction house, we have provided players with the first steps to a truly exciting and player ran economy, by implementing the auction house!
New looting system
A more robust and streamlined looting system has been implemented, all loot from basic enemies to world bosses will all be randomized and chance based. Giving players a more accomplished feeling when looting a high valued or rare item! Looting has also been remastered to include quest looting as well, meaning if a quest is initiated, players who are sent to loot certain items or defeat enemies to loot them will be available only during the quest. Once the quest is completed, those items will not longer spawn or be available to be looted!
Arenas & Battlegrounds
We have now officially opened up Arenas and Battlegrounds, this will now allow users to queue up for arenas and battlegrounds to earn xp, battle points and more! Arenas are set to max level players, which means this is a huge end game feature we are excited to announce. Battlegrounds will unlock once players reach a certain level!
Ranks
To go along with arenas/battlegrounds we also are introducing the new ranking feature! Showing off top players around the world based on all different factors! This could be most quests completed, top PvP players and top PvE players. Top players will receive very rare and exciting rewards at the end of each month!
New Inventory System
We have strayed away from the large inventory slots we showed off in the initial gameplay video back in June of 2024. We are now offering the favored bags system to allow for bag creation, special bag drops, and more! This will give players more control over the bags and what items will go into each bag, making organization much easier!
New Resurrection System
A new exciting feature, although may be small is the new resurrection system! Once a player dies they are provide two options, to return to the nearest town healers hut or travel as a spirit to their fallen corpse to resurrect from there.
Instancing overhaul
We are very excited to announce the completely overhauled instancing system! To push the large seamless world, we have integrated an instancing system that will now allow for more optimized regions/zones without affecting performance!
Auto Attack
A new feature added is auto attack! This ability is custom to the players current equipped weapon and distance from the enemy. Ranged classes can auto attack from further distance, as melee will need to be much closer! The auto attack although just a simple attack, is a new way to help alleviate spam clicking, now this minor addition will take control for simple auto attack towards enemies.
UI Overhaul
We are also redoing the UI to match up to a more easier to use and common MMO layout, which will feature new windows, boxes, notifications, pop-ups and more. Including a complete redesign of the player login and character creation/selection screens.
Huge Guild System Overhaul
A huge feature we have added is the complete overhaul of the Guild System now allowing for a much larger scale guild creation. Some incredible new features to the guild are;
- Guild Kingdom
- Guilds will now have their own land instance, allowing for players to construct homes and help in the creation of a kingdom! Buildings can be constructed by players helping to find and supply resources to the creation of the building. Members of the guild will have access to their Guilds Kingdom and can even build their very own cozy home within the kingdom.
- Guild Leveling
- Guilds will now be able to level up and unlock new and exciting new perks, rewards, buildings and abilities. The more the guild members help level the quicker the guilds can unlock perks/rewards.
- Guild Quests
- Another great feature are guild quests! These quests are only unlockable by being part of a Guild. These guild quests will help contribute to the leveling of the guild as well as unlock rare items, mounts and drops!
- Guild Merchants
- Within the Guild’s Kingdom merchants can be unlocked and allow for guild members to use those guild merchants! These merchants can range from simple shops to premium guild shops!
- Guild Warehouse
- This will allow members of the guild to share items and/or collect items they would need. This is a great way to build community in your guild so you can thrive!
- Ranks/Permissions and MOTD
- We have implemented the entire structure of the Guild to be customized by the Guild Owner, which will allow them to set ranks, create new ranks and set permissions for each rank. This will ensure the guild can be carefully ran and managed by those trusted.
- A message of the day can also be set that will be visible to all members of the guild!
- Player Owned plots
- Players within the guild can purchase their own land plots in which they can decorate, build and construct the desired structures for their plot. Each plot has custom sizes and can be purchased by the members of the guild. Each plot is also required to pay the land tax that will go towards the guild treasury. If a player is no longer interested in owning their land, they can place it for sell for another guild member to purchase should they desire. The price can be set by the player selling the land!
In the works, but not set in stone
Our team is always looking for new and exciting features to add to the game, some being great ideas and some being potentially great ideas. Below are a few features we are in the works of planning, and attempting to incorporate, but not entirely set in stone if the idea will stay or be removed.
Player Owned Shops
A potential idea is in the work, where players will be able to own and operate their own shops. Allowing for other players to purchase from them directly or an NPC. Players can establish their own inventory and allow the world to purchase from their shop, giving them side income or depending on their wares a lot of income! This idea is in the testing stages, and is dependent on how the player owned shops can either benefit or potentially harm the world’s economy.
Social Ally System
This system will unlock new social features within the game allowing for adding, removing and blocking friends. A way to stay connected when meeting other players in the world and wanting a way to connect with them for long-term friendships. This is something that is still early in the process and has not entirely began testing at this current moment. It is in the pre-production stages of mapping and checking the requirements for such system to be available in-game.
Advanced Grouping
This new feature will enhance the group/party system to allow for larger scale group activities, that would require a party/group to activate. Such as dungeons, raids, world events, etc. The grouping will also determine xp earned based on the number of players in the group, and have it evenly split among the members. When in a group, groups that enter dungeons will enter as a group, but must be in said group to be transported into the same instance. This feature is in testing stages, with more testing needed to be completed. Current status would be comparable to a beta stage for this feature.
World Player Housing
We are looking into the idea of potential player housing that can be done in the actual world, and not instanced. These options are being weighed out by the development team to ensure it would work for the lore as well as the performance. We want to ensure all players have a fair chance at owning land, so potential world player housing, is still in concept and not entirely confirmed to being implementation.
Loot Distribution
A new feature being tested currently is the loot distribution which means players that are grouped together or in a raid/dungeon instance will have their loot shared equally when it comes to currency. We are working on more systems to put into place that will allow for random loot to spawn based on the players class that will directly go to them based on a % chance. This stage is in a pre-alpha stage for distribution but has not entered into the class based loot systems being implemented.
As you can see World of Titans is growing constantly and introducing new and exciting features to truly enhance the MMO experience. We have so much to do and look forward to introducing you to all these fun and exciting new features!
